The New X-Tension R/T and X-Tension R/T GS is a new wrist strap style release that can be shot two ways, a pull-thru or relax tension style of release. To shoot as a pull-thru style release, begin by setting the release 5 pounds over your holding weight at full draw. Simply draw the bow with the thumb and index finger tension levers tightly depressed throughout the drawing of the bow. When full draw is achieved, remove pressure from the thumb and index finger tension lever and pull thru the shot. For a relax-tension style set the release 5 pounds less than your holding weight at full draw. Simply draw the bow with the thumb and index finger tension levers tightly depressed throughout the drawing of the bow, as you relax pressure on the thumb and index finger tension levers the release will fire.
