P1911 Air Gun
A heavy replica made entirely from metal of one of the most famous America pistols from the WWII period. The realism and level of similarity to the original is astounding. The weight, texture of metal that it is made from or the sound of pulled slide create an illusion of holding a live firearm. The pistol fires 4.5 mm BBs. Powered by 12 g CO2 capsule placed inside a 17 BB magazine. The pistol operates – like the original live firearm – both in SA (Single Action) and DA (Double Action) modes.
The trigger mechanism can be locked via a winged safety located on the right side, which cannot be switched off without touching the grip safety, which is only possible in the case of correct hand placement on the weapon. According to a standard set out after the introduction of M1911A1 the grip safety’s spur is prolonged and protects the hand from being hit by the slide during its backward movement.
Blow Back system – each squeeze of the trigger causes the slide to be jerked backwards, which cocks the hammer and the reversal movement introduces a BB into the barrel, from where with velocity of around 95 m/sec it will be fired after the squeeze of the trigger. When the magazine has been emptied, the slide will remain in rear position. Its release it possible after interacting with the slide release lever.
The grip, in the spot where it meets the hand, features an anti-slip texture – preventing the gun from sliding in the user’s hand and improving control over it. Due to Hop-Up system, which gives a BB a spin, the pistol’s accuracy and range have been significantly improved. At the bottom of the grip is a hole that enables the attachment of a pistol to a tactical sling safeguarding the pistol from getting lost.
Fixed iron sights consist of the front and rear sights.
