The larger version of the Siciliano is named after the village of Caltagirone on Sicily and is a rougher work version of the slender Siciliano. Typical for the Caltagirone are the more robust handle scales (compared to the brass bolsters) which pleasantly fill your hand and whose slightly curved handle end ensures very good ergonomics. The scales are made from Kotibé wood. Slip joint with strong spring.
